Dear Public Official 

I'm a resident who lives in your district. The laws of our state prohibit sex with a voluntarily intoxicated person. For some reason, a street level prostitute - a woman prostituting to support her drug habit - hasn't been included in the definition in our state. So the men who patronize the women, and the women themselves, do not consider the act to be no more than a misdemeanor offense between consenting adults.

But if you were the public official brave enough to just say "sex with an addict rape" the "consenting adults" would stop meeting each other. Did you know that one girl can get as much as $700 a day from men to spend on drugs? So, in one day, 20 women in the area can spend as much as $14,000  - provided by men who have jobs, reputations and families. 

That's about $400K month, or $4.8 million a year, in most areas - especially where street level drug use is accepted. 

You can put an abrupt end to drug use across the country if you begin the mantra “sex with an addict is rape”. You will be responsible for ending drug addiction in those states that follow your lead. Then we can get a real president in office. If you can reduce drug addiction across the country you will cause the seizure of drugs and gins - across the country - and clean up America in one shot. Not by bullying tactics and underhanded deals and tyranny, but with showing the people we had the power all along to reduce drug addiction and overdoses. The money set aside to be spent on the failing “war-on-drugs”can be used for something more productive than funding our own destruction.

Don't be the public official that see this, ignores it, and another one has vision and beats you to the White House.
